Amery IT Support was founded on a simple belief: businesses deserve IT support that's personal, proactive and easy to understand. We recognised that too many organisations were being overwhelmed by technical jargon, complicated pricing and reactive support models that focused on fixing problems rather than preventing them.

That's why we've built our business around long-term partnerships, straightforward advice and a security-first approach. By taking the time to understand each client's goals, challenges and ways of working, we're able to deliver practical technology solutions that genuinely add value.

Meet our Founder

Hi, I'm Greg Sheppard, Founder and Director of Amery IT Support.

For more than 20 years, I've been helping businesses use technology to work smarter, stay secure and achieve their goals. Before launching Amery IT Support, I worked for large Managed Service Providers and blue-chip technology companies before spending many years as an IT Manager for a national recruitment business. These experiences gave me a unique understanding of both the technical and commercial challenges organisations face when technology becomes a barrier rather than an enabler.

Over the years, I've supported organisations across recruitment, healthcare, legal, logistics, agriculture, education, charities and professional services, developing a practical, business-focused approach to IT support. I firmly believe technology should be easy to understand, aligned with business objectives and delivered without unnecessary jargon. Too often, businesses are overwhelmed by technical language, reactive support and complicated pricing models. My goal has always been to do things differently.

Today, my focus is on building long-term relationships with clients and helping them get the most from their technology. Whether that's improving cyber security, supporting Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and Apple Mac environments, designing and deploying networks, helping businesses achieve Cyber Essentials certification or simply being a trusted point of contact when something isn't working, I'm passionate about making IT simple, secure and reliable.
